Yet, there is something to this movie that makes you stick around to the end, even though it is campy, cheesy and have low budget written all over it. If you are credited as 'Sexy Zombie' in a movie, then you know everything is not right here. Watch the movie, and you will know it immediately when you get to that scene. Without the risk of sounding sarcastic, wait, that is exactly what I am trying to do here, then the not-so-subtle advertising for their other movies put on display in the movie was really just fantastic. It was annoying and tiring to look at, and it got old really fast. For some reason, then the blood in this movie was purple, and it always had to spray directly on the camera. I was ready to get up and find something else to watch when I saw these. And what was going on with the hybrid mix of Nemesis and the licker creatures from "Resident Evil". It is the classic low budget mistake to make. Yet somehow the necks, ears and hands were also spotless and never showed a sign of decay or damage. The zombies, well they were your standard low budget movie zombies shredded clothing and usually mangled faces. Wow, are you kidding me? What a bunch of generic, stereotypical and totally irrelevant characters can you manage to put into one movie? Now, I am not saying that the people acting and portraying the characters were doing bad jobs, but the characters themselves were parodies on themselves and everything in the zombie genre. It was so corny and bad, that there were times when you sit there curling your toes in disbelief. The dialog in the movie was just horrible. A lone stranger ends up with a small group of survivors in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. The storyline was fairly straight forward, and anyone who have seen just a single zombie movie should be familiar with the essentials of the storyline here as well. We don't know what they did before the apocalypse, but Mau is a badass driver, and apparently Katie used to play chess and take fencing lessons.This movie was like watching a bad movie spawned from the "Borderlands" games mixed with elements blatantly stolen from the "Resident Evil" universe. The dastardly duo, Maureen and Katie- Maureen is a high-quality redneck mechanic, and Katie is her tiny sidekick. We're not too sure what her deal is, but figure she's mostly just along for the ride. Sammie, the medic and local sociopath- she actually steals candy from children. She's looking for safety, and Milo provides. Jenny, Milo's main squeeze and by default the team's second in command. A former Army sergeant, he does his best to keep the team alive. Milo, the captain and only member with real military experience. The comic is rated R for violence, language, and the occasional zomboobie. The Zombie Hunters attracts a diverse audience of fans from all walks of life, including but not limited to: students, college students, hunters, soldiers, paramilitary, ex-military, nerds, jocks, and geeks alike, or even anyone who just enjoys a good romp through the end of the world. We follow the characters through their adventures on the 'safe' island of the Argus Research Campus, as well as their expeditions among the zombies found throughout the wastelands. The Zombie Hunters is an online long-form comic that chronicles the life and times of a group of individuals assigned to salvage materials in a post-apocalyptic scenario.
